• Christopher Peatross
    President & Chief Executive Officer
    Prior to forming Swift Real Estate Partners, Christopher served as President and CEO of Carr, Trizec & Equity Office Properties, managing all aspects of Blackstone’s office real estate portfolio encompassing 55 million square feet. He guided the strategic investments and had operational participation in the public-to-private transactions of CarrAmerica, Trizec, and Equity Office Properties. Before joining Equity Office, Christopher served as the Northern California Market Managing Director at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation for over six years.

    Christopher holds a Quantitative Economics degree from Stanford University.
  • Tamara Tanner
    Director of Human Resources & Corporate Administrator
    Prior to joining Swift, Tamara served for two years as the Director of Operations and Recruiting for EASearch, a retained search firm. Before joining EASearch, she served for 15-years at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation as the West Coast Senior Human Resources Generalist, in addition to serving five years as the Executive Assistant to CEO Thomas Carr in Washington, D.C. In addition to human resources and executive support, Tamara has an extensive background in project management. 

    Tamara attended the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in Humanities and holds the Professional Human Resources Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
  • Douglas D. Abbey
    Chairman
    Mr. Abbey chairs the Investment Committee and is responsible for the firm’s portfolio management activities. Previously, he co-founded AMB Property Corporation (merged with Prologis in 2011) and IHP Capital Partners in. He has over 35 years of experience in all phases of real estate investment. Since 2005 he has taught the real estate class at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr. Abbey has a BA from Amherst College and an MCP from UC Berkeley. He is on the Board of Bridge Housing Corporation, a non-profit developer of affordable housing, and is a past Trustee and Vice Chairman of the Urban Land Institute.
  • Steve Blue
    Managing Director, Southern California

    Mr. Blue is Managing Director responsible for the Southern California region.  Prior to joining Swift he served at Davenport Partners as a Partner where he led the acquisition, financing and operating efforts on numerous office properties for Davenport’s private and institutional investors. Before joining Davenport he served as Senior Vice President and Partner with Buchanan Street Partners responsible for identifying, structuring and underwriting joint venture investments.  Mr. Blue also spent five years at Spieker Properties as Vice President and Officer of the Company, and began his career in real estate with LaSalle Partners.   Mr. Blue holds a B.A., Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. 

  • Rachel Sergi
    Vice President, Corporate Controller

    Mrs. Sergi serves as the Corporate Controller overseeing Swift’s Accounting Department.  Prior to joining Swift she served as VP of Fund Accounting at Carmel Partners where she played an instrumental role in redesigning the Department’s policies and procedures, built the Department’s team, and lead due diligence for transactions from the initial modeling set-up to final proposals for ultimate implementation.  Prior to joining Carmel Partners she served as the Assistant Controller at MBK Real Estate and also served at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Sr. Associate.  Mrs. Sergi holds a Master in Business Administration from Berkeley, and a Business Economics Degree, with a Minor in Accounting from UC Berkeley.

  • Craig Firpo
    Vice President
    Prior to joining Swift, Craig served as Vice President of Asset Management for 10 years for the Northern California portfolio at Equity Office and CarrAmerica Realty Corporation. Before joining EOP/CarrAmerica, Craig worked for Spieker Properties and Pacific Gas and Electric Company in property management and corporate real estate. In total, Craig brings over 20 years of real estate experience to Swift. 

    Craig holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.
  • Aaron Reuter
    VP, Portfolio Management

    Aaron Reuter is Vice President of Portfolio Management at Swift. Mr. Reuter oversees portfolio activities for Swift’s real estate funds.  Most recently, Mr. Reuter was Director of Asset Management at Portland Oregon based Gerding Edlen, where he was responsible for the firm's asset management and disposition function for their sustainably focused office and multi-family private capital funds and strategic joint ventures. Prior to his time at Gerding Edlen, Mr. Reuter was Vice President of Fund Management at AMB/Prologis, where he oversaw approximately $2.0 Billon of industrial real estate located in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil.

    Mr. Reuter holds a BA from UCLA and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
